Joy2Learn Research

In 2003, the Joy2Learn Foundation commissioned a formative feasibility study with the financial support of the Rockefeller, Carnegie and Ford Foundations. The objective of the study was to analyze how teachers used the Joy2Learn e-Presentations. Dr. Robert Horowitz, professor at Columbia University, conducted the research in a variety of classrooms in schools across America.

In 2008, the Ford Foundation funded a strategic study of the Joy2Learn foundation and its projects. The Center for Children and Technology and Hollis Headrick (Executive Director of The Center for Arts Education: 1996-2006) were selected to conduct the research and write the study.
